We had Dr Rajakumar cup - that was played for Dancers Association benevolent fund. Now the ninth annual Dr Vishnuvardhana Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament a state level competition is all set. Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana on Wednesday afternoon at Press Club of Bangalore announced the modalities of the tournament in the presence of seniors actors Shivaramanna, Shobaraj, son in law Aniridh, Ravi Chetan and others.
It is called as ‘Sneha Loka’ Dr Vishnuvardhana Cup takes off in July and on September 18 the final results will be out for the tournament. September 18 happens to be the birth anniversary of Dr Vishnuvardhana the trophies will be distributed to the winning team. It will be played from July to September 2011 on Sundays at Jayanagar National College grounds. On September 18 the final event will take part and it is distribution of ‘Dr Vishnuvardhana Cup’.
There will be prizes for best bowler, batsman, umpire, fielder trophies are also given on this occasion. What is interesting Snehaloka Team will be playing a friendly match with the winning team!
